SANDLIN
MICHAEL SANDLIN was born on March 19, 1958. After his body could no longer fight or recover from the injuries he sustained from a motorcycle accident on August 23rd, he left the loving arms of his family to enter the loving arms of his Lord on September 14th, 2009. He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Sandlin, Grandmother Lola Valdez and Grandfather Paul Valdez. Left behind to cherish his memories are his wife Tami and children Michael Ray, Jr., Zachary and wife Elizabeth and grandson Ellijah, and Danielle. He is also survived by his mother Dorothy, brother Terry and wife Dolly, brother Bruce and sister Tamara. Along with many other family members and a host of friends.
Michael will be remembered for his love of life and his great smile. He worked at Steel Designs, Inc. as a Purchasing and Production Manager for the last 19 years where he made many lifelong friends.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks for all of the thoughts and prayers that have been lifted up for Michael and the rest of the family during the last several weeks.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 18th from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Cypress Fairbanks Funeral Home, located at 9926 Jones Road, Houston, TX 77065. Funeral services will also be held at Cypress Fairbanks Funeral Home on Saturday, September 19th at 11:00 a.m. The procession to the graveside for services at Brookside Funeral Home will immediately follow. 13401 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
