  Death Notice: KAPLAN - Edwin Leblanc, 78, of Lafayette died at 9:45 p.m. Monday, Feb. 8, 1999, at a Lafayette hospital. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, in Vincent Funeral Home. Burial will be in Kaplan Cemetery. Visitation is from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today, and from 9 a.m. to service time Thursday. (Published in The Lafayette Daily Advertiser on February 10, 1999) Obituary: Services set for Edwin LeBlanc, 78 KAPLAN - Funeral services for Edwin LeBlanc, 78, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, 1999, at Vincent Funeral Home with Rev. Mr. Paul R. Eleazar officiating the services. Burial will be in Kaplan Cemetery. Mr. LeBlanc died at 9:45 p.m. Monday, Feb. 8, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. Survivors include five sons, Roudley LeBlanc of Broussard, Brent LeBlanc of Marrero, Russell LeBlanc of Ponchatoula, Kirk LeBlanc of Navarre, Fla., and Randall LeBlanc of Youngsville; two brothers, Nelton LeBlanc of Crowley and Alphonse LeBlanc Jr. of Bayou Vista; one sister, Anna L. Touchet of Abbeville; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn LeMaire LeBlanc. The family requests that visiting hours be observed Wednesday, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday, from 9 a.m. until service time. Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan is conducting all funeral arrangements.
