Effie L. Guidry
LAKE CHARLES - Funeral services for Mrs. Effie L. Guidry, 85, of Lake Charles, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 5, in Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church.
The Rev. Michael Barras will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery in Kaplan under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home.
Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4. There will be a scripture service at 7 p.m. Sunday.
She died Friday, Oct. 2, in Oklahoma City, Okla.
She was a native of Youngsville and a resident of Lake Charles for most of her life.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Tommy Jackson; two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
