NOLAN
Jack Nolan, 88, of Corpus Christi, Texas, left this earth on Sunday, April 17, 2005 after a long and colorful life.
Jack was born September 24, 1916 in Beaumont, Texas to Percy Hardin Nolan and Ruby Vatter Nolan. He served in the United States Marine Corps. during WWII, in the South Pacific Theater, receiving two Purple Hearts. he was a loving father and grandfather. He is preceded in death by infant son, Jack Nolan, Jr.
He is survived by two sons, Richard Wayne Nolan (Betty) of Gilmer, Texas and Patrick Hardin Nolan (Amy) of Corpus Christi, Texas; four daughters, Linda Gale Kovarick (Emil) and Jackie Sue Kashinski (Mike) both of Pasadena, Texas and Gloria Jean Cook (Larry) and Carol Lee Davis (Darrell) both of Gilmer, Texas; 14 grandchildren; five great grandchildren and many life long friends.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 18, 2005. Funeral Services will be at 3:00 p.m. Monday, April 18, 2005 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel, with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the nursing staff of Alameda Oaks Nursing Home for their loving care.
Active Pallbearers will be: Jimmy Whipple, Willie Hall, Adolpho Guerrero, Dan Kohutek. Honorary Pallbearer is Ray Dault.
