Robert "Bobby" H. Burton Sr.
December 10, 1945 - December 12, 2022
Robert "Bobby" H. Burton Sr. age 77, of Doddridge, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord Monday, December 12, 2022 in a Texarkana, Texas hospital. Bobby was born December 10, 1945, in Nederland, Texas. He was a Disabled Decorated Veteran having served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War where he received two Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church; VFW Post 5870, Queen City, Texas; and loved spending time building hot rods.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Ann Burton; sister, Lola Ann Burton; and his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Anetia Burton of Doddridge, Arkansas; sons, Robert Burton Jr. and wife Toni of Commerce, Texas, Charles Burton and wife Crystal of Atlanta, Texas; step-daughter, Angela Perkins and husband Freddie of Marshall, Texas; grandchildren, Dyan Burton, Brandon Burton, Amber Burton, Jeffrey Burton; step-grandchildren, Preston Gardner, Larissa Givens, Kayla Smith; and a number of other relatives and friends.
A visitation in Bobby's honor will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Hanner Funeral Service.
