  Obituary: Frederick Infant Final rites for Susan Raye Frederick, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Frederick, were held on Monday, March 8th at 9:00 a.m. in Holy Rosary Catholic Church here. The Fredrick infant passed away Sunday, February 7th at 2:23 a.m. in Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital. The other survivors include: grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Milton Abshire and Mr. and Mrs. Preston Frederick of Kaplan and Abbeville respectively; one sister Karen Kay Frederick of Kaplan; two brothers, Calvin James and Chris James Frederick, both of Kaplan. Burial was in the Abshire Cemetery with Meaux Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. (Published in The Kaplan Herald on February 25, 1971)
