Curtis Phillips
CARTHAGE, Tex. - Curtis Tommy Phillips, 64, of Sulphur, La., died Saturday at his residence after a long illness.
Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Mount Bethel Cemetery near Gary with the Rev. Lloyd Roper officiating.
He was a heavy equipment operator.
Survivors include his widow; five sons, Charles E Phillips of Houston, Curtis L Phillips and Bobby P Phillips, both of Carthage, Bruce Phillips of Cleveland, Albert E. Phillips of Tyler; two stepsons, J. W. Vice of Abbyville, La., and Donald Guidry of Baton Rouge, La.; two daughters, Mrs. Margret Byrd of Longview and Mrs. Ruth Brandenburg of Corrigan; two stepdaughters Mrs. Bill Cotton of Boren and Mrs. Floy Hunt of Corpus Christi; one brother, Albert Phillips of Henryetta, Okla.; and 21 grandchildren.
