      Verna Davis

      Verna Palombo Davis passed at her Denham Springs home at the age of 74. She was born in Abbeville, Louisiana on January 7,1950 to her parents Paul Murphy Palombo and Annie Mae Palombo. She graduated from high school before working as a secretary in the medical field. Verna enjoyed spending her time sewing and creating.

      She is survived by her daughter Anna Giles Ivanyisky (Eugene Ivanyisky), sons Frederic Trahan (Kristin) and Otto Maurer (Beth), grandchildren Sarah Elizabeth Jones (Eric Jones), Kandi Lynn Novak, Katelyn Trahan, and Cole Trahan, sisters Virginia Borel and Lena Palombo, and numerous nieces and nephews.

      She is preceded in death by her parents Paul Murphy Palombo and Annie Mae Palombo, husband Ray Davis, sister Loretta Borel, and grandson Billy Paul.
