  Obituary: Ludness "Bade" John Henry June 30, 1924 - October 22, 2008 Ludness "Bade" John Henry, 84, a resident of Berwick and born in Crowley, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2008 in Youngsville at LTAC of Acadiana. Ludness was a retired Crane Operator from Avondale and McDermott. His hobbies were going Dancing and watching his children and grandchildren play sports. Ludness is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Theresa Dubois Henry of Berwick; his children Gloria Champine and her husband Roger of Morgan City, Chester J. Henry and his fiance Rosa of Maurice, Lud Henry and his wife Christine of Berwick, Belinda Boudreaux and her husband Ashley of Berwick, and Ernie Henry and his fiance Kim of Berwick; fifteen grandchildren, Faith Bran, Roger Champine, Jr., Chad Henry, Cliff Henry, LaDon Champine, Jonathan (J.P.) Henry, Hope Henry, Justin Henry, Krystal Henry, Seth Henry, Ashley Boudreaux, Jr., Matthew Henry, Ernie Henry, Jr., Bobby Boudreaux, and Timothy Henry; fourteen great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; one brother Rodney Henry, Sr. of Jennings. Ludness is preceded in death by his parents Eva and Elzie Henry; one daughter Brenda Ann Henry; two sons Floyd and David Henry; two brothers Samar and Carlson Henry. Pallbearers will be all 12 grandsons. A time of remembrance and reflection will be observed today, Thursday, October 23, 2008, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City. Visitation will continue Friday, October 24, 2008, from 8 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Berwick with a Mass of Christian burial at 1 p.m. Ludness will be laid to rest in the Berwick Cemetery.
