  Death Notice: ABBEVILLE - Wilfred Touchet, 81, died Monday, July 14, 2008. Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville is in charge of arrangements. (Published in The Lafayette Daily Advertiser on July 17, 2008) Obituary: Wilfred Touchet October 12, 1926 - July 14, 2008 Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 17, 2008 at Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville honoring the life of Wilfred Touchet, 81, who died July 14, 2008 at Maison du Monde Living Center. He is survived by two daughters, Jackie Bourque and Celest Green; one son, Dalton R. Touchet; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by by his wife, Helen Cabrol Touchet; parents, Ferguste Touchet and the former Celestina Choate; one grandson, Brent Touchet; one sister, Lucille T. Perry; one infant sister; three brothers, Weston Touchet, Preston Touchet and J. Roy Touchet; one neice, Patricia; three sisters-in-law, Edia, Almie and Annna. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles, Abbeville, Wednesday, July 16th from 7:30 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Thursday, July 17th from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
