Morris B. Taylor
FORT WORTH - Morris Buel Taylor, a retired civil service employee, died Monday at a Fort Worth hospital. He was 77.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Baptist Church in River Oaks, where he was a member. Burial will be in Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth. Laurel Land Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Taylor was born in North Zulch, Madison County, and was a longtime Fort Worth resident. He was an Army veteran of World War II and retired from the Air Force Reserve's 301st Tactical Fighter Wing at Carswell Air Force Base.
Mr. Taylor was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8235.
Survivors: Wife, Virginia Taylor of Fort Worth; two sons, Grady Taylor of North Zulch and Steven Taylor of Fort Worth; three daughters, Jackie Madewell of Fort Worth, Linda Billings of Madisonville and Mary Jane Durkin of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; four half brothers, J.C. Hollis of Huntsville, Ala., William "Bill" Hollis of Orlando, Fla., Standley "Neil" House of Topeka, Kan., and Bill House of Mesa, Ariz.; half sister, Jud Allen of Wichita, Kan.; and 11 grandchildren.
