  Obituary: Karen Allen Serrette January 18, 1960 - April 27, 2025 Karen Allen Serrette, born January 18, 1960, passed away at her home in Henderson at the age of 65 on Sunday, April 27, 2025. She was a native of Plaquemine and a resident of Henderson. Karen was a woman of many talents. She worked in medical billing, catered events, and was a sitter all before becoming a homemaker. Visitation will be at Wilbert Funeral Home in Plaquemine on Thursday, May 1st, from 9 a.m. until Rite of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., conducted by Deacon Bob McDonner. Burial will follow in Grace Memorial Park. Karen is survived by her husband of 20 years, Jackie James Serrette; her three sons, Branden Coussou, Jeremy Coussou, Richard Coussou Jr; five grandchildren, Leslie Myers, Ashlynn Coussou, Mya Dupuy, Branden Coussou Jr., Claire Riley; two step-children, Jarrod Serrette and wife Crystal, Kimberly Serrette; step-grandchildren, Milo Serrette, Ava Serrette and Sai Polk; brother, Kurt Allen and wife Nelda; sister-in-law, Fran Allen. Karen was preceded in death by her father, Walter Allen; mother, Relda Watts Percle; brother, Ken Allen. Pallbearers will be Branden, Jeremy and Richard Jr Coussou, Jarrod Serrette, Ashlynn Coussou and Cameron Noble.
