  Obituary: Ken Allen June 16, 1961 - August 20, 2024 Ken Allen passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at the age of 63 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was a retired construction worker, resident and native of Bayou Sorrel, LA. Visitation will be held at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine on Friday, August 23, 2024, from 10am until religious services at 2pm, conducted by Pastor Mitch Collier. Interment will follow at Grace Memorial Park, Plaquemine. Ken is survived by his wife of 44 years, Fran Michelli Allen; daughters, Jennifer Landry (Chris Bud), Vanessa Langlois (Chandler) and Shannah Allen; grandchildren, Gregory Duncan, Jr. (Makayla Vidrine), Katelynn Duncan (Gauge Bourque), Sadie Langlois, Jade Haydel (Trey), Jacey Nicolosi (Jarred), Savannah Dupont (Ryan) and Che Landry; numerous great grandchildren; siblings, Karen Serette (Jackie) and Kurt Allen (Nelda); and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his granddaughter, Sarah Langlois; mother, Relda Watts Percle; and father, Walter Allen. Pallbearers will be Chandler Langlois, Chris Bud, Tim Langlois, Gregory Duncan, Jr., Mark Moses and Boyd Verret. Honorary pallbearer will be Che Landry.
