Douglas Joe Horne
September 24, 1950 - February 6, 2010
Our beloved dad, son, cousin, and friend, Douglas Joe Horne, age 59, of Bloomfield, left us unexpectedly Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010. Doug was born Sept. 24, 1950, in Farmington, to Troy V. Horne and Lucille E. Bosse Horne. Dad was such a fun-loving person who enjoyed life to the fullest. Whether he was backpacking, listening to music, studying airplanes and Indian culture, Dad made the most of his life. In 1968, Doug graduated from Aztec High School and was named Mr. A. H.S. He attended Eastern New Mexico University, where he received his bachelor's degree and master's degree in business. Doug never forgot his classmates and had a close relationship with those who remained in this area. He was preceded in death by his father, Troy; and brother, Dennis. He is survived by his daughter, Kaitlen Horne; mother, Lucille Horne; cousins, Debbie Stidman and husband, Kirt, Dell Hunter and husband, Craig; and by too many friends to count.
