  Death Notice: Ora Huitt BIG SPRING - Mrs. Charlie (Ora) Huitt, 52, of Big Spring died at 6 p.m. Tuesday in a local hospital of natural causes. Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Nalley-Pickle Rosewood Chapel. (Published in The Abilene Reporter-News on September 14, 1978) Obituary: Ora Huitt BIG SPRING - Mrs. Charlie (Ora) Huitt, 52, of Big Spring died at 6 p.m. Tuesday in a local hospital of natural causes. Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Nalley-Pickle Rosewood Chapel. The Rev. Earl Akin will officiate. Burial will be in Trinity Memorial Park. Born Feb. 28, 1926, in Jayton, she married Charlie Huitt in Big Spring and had lived here 35 years. She was a member of the Church of God. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Ronnie, Roger and Rodney, all of Big Spring; four daughters, Charlene Kennedy of Fort Polk, La., Eva Chappell, Elaine Huitt and Brenda Bogger, all of Big Spring; two sisters, Mrs. Loyd Arnold of Big Spring and Jewell Kelley of Lufkin; two brothers, Ed Hamlin of Lubbock and Joe Hamlin of Big Spring; and 16 grandchildren.
