  Obituary: Daniel Timothy Scott January 28, 1993 - June 8, 2024 Daniel Timothy Scott, 31, of Big Spring, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2024. Visitation at Myers & Smith Funeral Home will be Thursday, June 13th with the family receiving friends from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM. The service will be held Friday, June 14th at College Baptist Church, 1105 Birdwell Ln. at 2:00 PM followed by interment at Trinity Memorial Park. Daniel was born in Big Spring, TX, January 28, 1993 to Bill and Cherylann Scott. A force from the beginning, he captivated everyone's hearts. From a silly little boy, he grew into a kind young man. He loved everyone around him and always was willing to step into their life. You did not have to ask him for help, he knew exactly what you needed before you did. He enjoyed inventing many things and utilizing his 3d printer to make his ideas come to life to make life simpler for others. He truly was a self-proclaimed genius. He became a father to an amazing boy who captivated his heart. He would soon marry the love of his life, Jessica, on August 1, 2020, and added to his heart four more wonderful children. He was an amazing husband and father. He was a lifelong resident of Big Spring, TX and was employed by Plains Pipeline as a SCADA specialist. Daniel will be missed by many for his laugh, his smile, his teddy bear hugs, and his love of hats. He is gone, but never forgotten. Until we see you again, we will always love you. He is survived by his wife, Jessica Scott; 3 sons, Easton Scott, Shepard Scott, and Mason Rodriguez; a daughter, Hannah Rodriguez, and a new bundle of joy on the way; his mother, Cherylann Scott; his siblings, Amber Nichols and husband Chance, Mark Scott and wife Miranda, Robert Scott and wife Jennifer, Dennis Brady and wife Gayle, Richard Brady and wife Elena, and Nadia Scott; his father-in-law, Keith Jones; his mother-in-law, Staci Dockal; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins Arrangements have been entrusted to Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
