Mrs. Jewel Davis
Mrs. Jewel Davis, 76, of 1500 Cloverleaf died Wednesday morning at a local hospital.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Wilkinson-Hatch Funeral Home Chapel, Larry Golden and the Rev. William Whitaker officiating. Burial will be at Big Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Davis was born Nov. 1, 1906, in Milam County. She grew up in Madison County and moved to Waco in 1944.
Her husband, George C. Davis, a Waco building contractor, died in 1972. Mrs. Davis was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Nettie M. Sprayberry of 1500 Cloverleaf and Ruby F. Reeves of Marlin.

Funeral services: 1:00 p.m. Friday at Wilkinson-Hatch Chapel, with Revs. William Whitaker and Larry Golden officiating, burial in Big Hill Cemetery.
Survivors: two sisters, Nettie M. Sprayberry of 1500 Cloverleaf, Ruby F. Reeves of Marlin; number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers: Jerdan Davis, Stanford Davis, Gary Herwald, Gary Dykstra, Calvin Edwards, Jeffrey Edwards.
