  Obituary: Margaret Ann Crawford 1935 - 2018 Margaret Ann Crawford, age 82, died on Friday, February 23, 2018. From her birth in Forrest, New Mexico, on August 29, 1935, to her death, she nourished people around her with love, faith, and support. She was raised on a farm near Forrest, New Mexico and was the youngest of five children. After graduating from high school, she married the love of her life, Carl on June 10, 1954, in Tucumcari, New Mexico. They began their life together in Sarepta, Louisiana and Taylor, Arkansas. After four years, Carl and Margaret returned to Tucumcari to farm and ranch. They established their family home in 1974 at the place Margaret was born. In 1978, they set up a second home in Amarillo, Texas. Margaret went to work at a department store to help support the children with college. From 1988 to 1995, both Margaret and Carl were employed by Amarillo State Center to manage group homes for mentally challenged adults. Left to honor Margaret and remember her love are Margaret's three children, Jerry Crawford of Amarillo, Texas, Deborah (Phil) Gillespie of Levelland, Texas, and Brenda (Kyle) Davidson of Mansfield, Texas; six grandchildren, Kayla (Chris) Bradley, Jon (Aimee)Stevens, Catherine Crawford, Josiah (Karis) Crawford, Robert Davidson, and Christopher Davidson; five great-grandchildren: Elizabeth, Rosaleigh, Robert, Aiden, and Mason; and many nieces and nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Carl, her parents Clyde and Bessie Moon, daughter-in-law Cindy Crawford, and siblings Willard, Cecil, Leo, and Lucille. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 3rd at 10:00 am at First Baptist Church of Tucumcari. Burial will follow at Tucumcari Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Arrangements are entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari, NM.
