  Obituary: BURRIS Gene A. Burris, 75, of Corpus Christi, passed away Sunday, April 21, 1991 in a local hospital. He was born in Webb City, Missouri, was a U.S. Army Veteran, and and a longtime resident of Corpus Christi. He owned and operated the Crest Rental Equipment Company until his retirement in 1987. He was also a member of the Corpus Christi Lodge #189 AF & AM. He is survived by two sons, James H. Burris and Eugene A. Burris Jr., both of Corpus Christi; one daughter, Nita Jean Graham of Mt. Dora, Florida; one brother, George Burris Jr. of Dallas; and eight grandchildren. Visitation will be held after 12 noon Tuesday at Seaside Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, 1991 at Seaside Memorial Park with the Masonic Funeral Committee assisting.
