      BEEVILLE - Mrs. Lula May Hicks, 81, died yesterday in a local nursing home.

      Surviving are two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

      HICKS

      BEEVILLE - Lula May Hicks, 81, died Thursday at a local nursing home. She was born on September 19, 1902, in Mill Creek, Oklahoma, and had lived in Skidmore, Texas, most of her life.

      Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Dorothy B. Hicks of Skidmore; two grandchildren, Barbara A. Segelken of Skidmore and Kenneth R. Hicks of Beeville; four great-grandchildren; and six nieces. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Galloway and Sons Chapel in Beeville with the Rev. Jack Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Skidmore, Texas.

      BEEVILLE - Lula May Hicks, 81, of Beeville, died Thursday at a Beeville nursing home.

      She was born Sept. 19, 1902, in Mill Creek, Okla., to Joseph Ray and Nancie Chischer Franz.

      Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Galloway and Sons Funeral Home, Beeville, with the Rev. Jack Allen officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

      Surviving are two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
