  Death Notice: Mrs. Lula May Hicks BEEVILLE - Mrs. Lula May Hicks, 81, died yesterday in a local nursing home. Surviving are two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Galloway and Sons Funeral Home of Beeville. (Published in The Corpus Christi Caller on September 14, 1984) Obituary: HICKS BEEVILLE - Lula May Hicks, 81, died Thursday at a local nursing home. She was born on September 19, 1902, in Mill Creek, Oklahoma, and had lived in Skidmore, Texas, most of her life. Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Dorothy B. Hicks of Skidmore; two grandchildren, Barbara A. Segelken of Skidmore and Kenneth R. Hicks of Beeville; four great-grandchildren; and six nieces. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Galloway and Sons Chapel in Beeville with the Rev. Jack Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Skidmore, Texas. Galloway and Sons, Inc. of Beeville.
