Rosalle Anna Marek
Nov. 29, 1909 - Dec. 15, 1992
CALDWELL - Funeral services for Rosalie Anna Marek, 83, of Austin will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home.
The Rev. Henry Beseda, a retired Brethren minister, will officiate. Burial will be in New Tabor Cemetery near Caldwell. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be from noon to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until the service Saturday.
Mrs. Marek died Tuesday morning at home.
She was born in the Cooks Point community in Burleson County to Frank Sr. and Rosie Drgac Bednar, and had lived in Austin since 1984. She married Joseph Marek in 1929 in Caldwell, and they operated a general store in the Tunis community in Burleson County for many years.
Mrs. Marek was preceded in death by her husband in 1975.
Survivors include two sisters, Millie George of Missouri and Lenora George of Austin; and several nieces and nephews.
