Millie O. George
Millie O. George, 83, Grain Valley, died Saturday, Nov. 8, 1997, at her home.
Mrs. George was born Oct. 20, 1914, in Burleson County, Texas. She retired as a registered nurse from the Osteopathic Hospital in 1979. She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. George in 1955.
Her survivors include a son, James T. George, Gravois Mills, Mo.; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary J. and Charles Daniels of the home; a sister, Lenora Payne, Austin, Texas; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley. Burial will be in Mount Washington Cemetery. Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St. Mary's Hospice, Blue Springs.
