    • Obituary:

      Funeral services for Mr. R. C. Phillips, 53, of Wichita Falls, Texas, were held at the First Baptist Church in Lakeside City with Rev. Ed Lane, pastor, officiating.

      Burial followed in Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home.

      He was born December 21, 1928, in Fort Necessity, La., and had lived in Wichita Falls, Texas, for 35 years. He was a dry wall contractor and a member of Lamar Baptist Church.

      Survivors include his wife, Pat Phillips; a son, Robert Phillips of Wichita Falls, Texas; three daughters, Sandra Rowland of Longwood, Florida, and Brenda Kay Odom and Patricia Garcia, both of Wichita Falls; his parents, Clarence of Grayson, La.; and Montez Busby of Wichita Falls, Texas; a sister, Marie Ingols of Pennsylvania; and three grandchildren.
