    • Obituary:

      Darmolene Ingle Houston, 68, of Fort Smith, died Thursday, April 12, 2007, in Fort Smith. She was born on February 21, 1939, in Madison County, was a retired employee of the Department of Social Services for the state of Louisiana and a former member of the Eastern Star State of Arkansas. She was the widow of David L. Houston of Walker, Louisiana. Truly a touch of the Lords hand that will be missed. Memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, at Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith. She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Elkins of Fort Smith; three sons, Fred Benjamin Elkins Jr. of Fort Smith, Lewis Eugene Weber Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla., and Manuel Bruce Leaym Jr. of Van Buren; three sisters, Linda Barnhill of Van Buren, Dorles Pettigrew of Lincoln and Beatrice Mathew of Lumbercity, GA; two brothers, Edward Ingle of Van Buren and John Ingle of Lumbercity; five grandchildren; Joseph Elkins of Fort Smith, Michael and Brittany Leaym of Van Buren, Edward and Shane Nye of Jacksonville, Fla. And three great grandchildren.
