  Obituary: Vila Davis Anderson, 88, of McKinney, Texas passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at the McKinney Health Care and Rehab Center in McKinney. She was born on September 26, 1921 in Marshall County to late Claud Cecil Crow and Hester Jane Roberts Crow. Vila was raised in Marshall County where she lived most of her life. She married Joseph Clifton Davis on July 16, 1937 in Big Spring, Texas. He preceded her in death on May 29, 1989. She moved to McKinney in 2005 to be closer to her family. Vila was affiliated with the United Church of God and her joys in life were her children, their families and her church family. She is survived by: Children: Carlos Davis and wife Shirley, Sulphur, Oklahoma Rickie Hawkins and husband Jerry, McAlister, Oklahoma David Davis and wife Suzanne, McKinney, Texas Donna Parks and husband Kevin, Windsor Ontario, Canada 5 Grandchildren 4 Great Grandchildren 2 Sisters: Corine Clayborn, Madill, Oklahoma Zelma Leslie, Comanche, Texas Vila was preceded in death by her parents Claud and Hester Crow, one daughter - Bettie Bell, husband Joseph Clifton Davis and second husband Vernie Anderson In lieu of flowers family requests donations be made to: Heart to Heart Hospice of Texas 1500 Waters Ridge Drive, Suite 100 Lewisville, TX 75057 Phone: (972) 479-0766 (Published by Watts Funeral Home of Kingston, OK)
