      Gary Lyndell Clement

Born September 25, 1949 in Baytown, Texas. Died December 30, 2018 in Grafton, WI. Age 69 years. He grew up in Highlands, TX and moved to Splendora in high school. He was an athlete in high school and graduated as valedictorian in 1968. He was blessed with his daughter, Monica, in 1971 and graduated from Sam Houston State University in the same year. He remained a "Bearkats" fan throughout his life. He started working at Exxon Refinery in Baytown, TX in 1974. He married the love of his life, Deborah, in 1981.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Estelle and Watts, and his son Timothy. He is survived by his wife, Deborah (nee Stipe) of Grafton, WI, his daughter Monica (Tom) Drews of Hartford, WI, and his grandson Jeffery (Bianca) Brackin of Crosby, TX. He is also survived by his sister, Beverly, of Santa Fe, TX, his brother Adam (Debbie) Clement of Canyon Lake, TX, and his sister Annette (Ron) Inkster of Porter, TX. He has three nephews, one niece and one great grandson.

Gary loved to write. Several years ago, he published a book called Star Rookie. This year he was excited to have his new book Elizabeth's Diary published. It is a civil war period book and one of Gary's proudest accomplishments.

Another great achievement for Gary was when he earned his Master's Degree in Christian Ministries in 2011 and his Doctorate in Theology in 2015. He retired from work as a project manager in 2015 and traveled with Deborah.
