  Obituary: Last Sad Duties Given A Departed Friend and Mother Seldom has there been a larger or a more impressive funeral than was socorded the remains of a beloved mother, affectionate friend, wife and neighbor, than that accorded by tender relatives and warm friends to the late Mrs. Eraste Boudreaux, nee Carmelite LeBlanc, at the Catholic Church last Sunday afternoon. The floral offerings were many and beautiful. Interment was made in the New Catholic cemetery. Deceased died at the ripe old age of 80 years, Saturday last, at 11 a.m.. Three sons, S.J., of Abbeville, A.J. and Leonce Boudreaux of Port Arthur; and four daughters, Mrs. Ed Hollier, of Vinton; Mrs. W.E. Terry, of Littlefield, Tex; Miss Elrita Boudreaux of New Orleans, and Mrs. E.M. Hebert of Galveston, Tex., survive. All were present at the funeral with the exception of Mrs. Terry, was was unavoidably absent. (Published in The Abbeville Progress on March 29, 1930)
