Edward "Eddie" Leblanc 28, who recently returned from three years service in the U. S. Army including 30 months overseas, died of a heart attack while working on a dredge boat at Port Isobel, Texas.

The funeral rites were held in the Holy Rosary Catholic church Saturday morning at 10 oclock and burial was in the Catholic cemetery in Kaplan.

Surviving the young man are his mother, Mrs. Alphonse LeBlanc of Kaplan; seven brothers, Isaac, Semar, Aristile, Edwin, Nelton, Eusse and Alphonse, Jr.; five sisters, Olivia, Gladys, Anna, Wilda Mae and Hilda LeBlanc.
