  Obituary: GROVES - Wanda Vee "Nunez" Meaux, 72, of Groves died Tuesday, May 1, 2001, at her home. A native and lifelong resident of Groves, she was a retired medical assistant with a local family practice. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Grammier Oberle Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Survivors include two sons, Gary Meaux of Houston and Dwight Meaux of New Lenox, Ill.; one daughter, Leslie Meaux of Houston; one brother, Leland Nunez of Houston; and two grandchildren.
