  Obituary: MILLICAN MAN IS KILLED WHEN STRUCK BY CAR Funeral services for George W. Greer, about fifty-seven years of age, who was accidentally run over and killed last night were held this afternoon at 3:45 o'clock at Millican with Rev. R. L. Brown, Baptist pastor of College Station officiating and interment was made in the Millican cemetery under the direction of C. A. Dunavant. Mr. Greer was walking on the Bryan highway about 11:30 last night when he was struck by a car driven by a man from Houston. The man and his companion were travelling along the highway and stated that they met another car, the lights causing them not to see Mr. Greer, who was walking. Surviving Mr. Greer are his wife and ten children; Mrs. Lela Vinson of College Station, Mrs. G. R. Blanton of Washington, Mrs. Irene Sage, Misses Ann and Gladys Greer, and Charles, Tom, Steve, Joe and George Greer, all of Millican. (Published in The Navasota Daily Examiner on March 29, 1935)
