  Obituary: Shirley Dupuis Dore August 28, 1941 - February 2, 2025 Rayne, LA - Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at a 1:30 pm Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne for Shirley Dupuis Dore, 83, who died Sunday, February 2, 2025 at The Ellington Nursing Home in Rayne, LA. Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2 in Rayne, LA. Very Rev. Brent L. Smith, VF, Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Survivors include her two children, Paula Dore Landry and spouse Tommie, Gregory Dore and spouse Tammi Dore, stepson, Donald Dore, Jr., three grandsons, Matthew Dore and spouse Taylor Dore, Nicholas Dore and spouse Emily Dore, Christopher Dore, three step grandchildren, Michelle Dore Reinke, Sabrina Dore Fruge, Katie Dore, one great grandson, Paul Jude Dore. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Dore, Sr. parents, Clarence Dupuis and Bertha Clement Dupuis. Pallbearers will be Greg Dore, Matthew Dore, Nicholas Dore, Christopher Dore, Tom Landry, Joey Thibodeaux. Honorary pallbearer, Donald Dore, Jr.. A Rosary will be prayed Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 6:00 pm in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne, LA. The family requests that visitation be observed in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne, LA on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. The Dore family would like to give a special Thank you to Hospice of Acadiana in Lafayette, and The Ellington Nursing Home in Rayne.
