      PERTL, Annie Rose, 88, of Caldwell died Monday. Services 3 p.m. today, Phillips-Luckey Funeral Home, Caldwell. Burial San Antonio Prairie Cemetery, near Caldwell.

      Annie Rose Pertl

      CALDWELL - Funeral services for Annie Rose Pertl, 88, of Bryan will be held at 3 p.m. today at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Caldwell.

      Officiating will be the Rev. Harry Thrasher of the First Assembly of God in Caldwell. Burial will be in San Antonio Prairie Cemetery near Caldwell.

      Mrs. Pertl died Monday evening in a local hospital.

      A native of Burleson County, Mrs. Pertl lived in the county for most of her life. She moved to Bryan in 1982. Mrs. Pertl was a homemaker and a member of First Assembly of God.

      Family members said she loved flowers and reading her Bible.

      Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Melvin and Dorothy Fay Pertl of Caldwell, Joe and Melinda Pertl of Deanville, and Clarence and Bobbie Pertl of Pasadena; two daughters and sons-in-law, Naomi and Curtis Rathjen of Caldwell and Joyce and Scott Thrasher of Bryan; a sister, Vlasta Wolff of Beaumont; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
