    • Obituary:

      MADISONVILLE - Funeral services for Mr. Robert Lee May, 62, of North Zulch, were held today at 2 p.m. at the Willow Hole Chapel at North Zulch with burial in the Willow Hole Cemetery. The Rev. Phil Snell, of College Station, was to officiate with funeral arrangements by Ferguson Funeral Home of Madisonville.

      Mr. May died Saturday in a Bryan hospital. He was born April 27, 1914 in Madison County and lived there all his life. He was a welder.

      He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ella Mae May of North Zulch; four sons, James E. May, Donald Ray May and Terry Lynn May all of North Zulch, and Robert H. May of Houston; four daughters, Mrs. Betty Wade of College Station, Mrs. Delores Birchum of Westoff, Mrs. Linda Presley of North Carolia and Mrs. Lanell Gafford of Madisonville; two brothers, Thomas May of North Zulch and Albert May of Baytown; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Fitzgerald and Mrs. Clemmie Stabler, both of Houston, and Mrs. Pauline Windham of North Zulch; his mother, Mrs. Mary May of North Zulch; and 22 grandchildren.
