  Obituary: Hale rites Funeral services for Hale were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Walnut Grove Baptist church east of Epps with the Revs. J. P. Harvey and Mel Neuschwanger officaiting. Interment was in Epps Cemetery under direction of Kidder-Cox Funeral Home of Delhi. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Billie Hale, of Pioneer; a son, Jason L. hale, of Pioneer; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill W. Hale of Epps; three brothers, Ralph Hale and Fredrick Hale, both of Pioneer, and Larry Hale, of Epps; two sisters, Mrs. Vera Newton and Mrs. Gayla Miller, both of Epps; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Ava Williams, of Winnsboro. Pallbearers were Mike Hale, David Hale, Louis Hale, Craig Hale, Edward Sullivan and Billy Sullivan. (Published in The West Carroll Gazette on September 13, 1973)
