  Obituary: Funeral Services Held for Mrs. Sarah E. Greer Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Greer, 52, of 904 Jackson St., Houston were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, from the chapel of the Scott-Harris Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Evans officiating. Interment was in Peach Creek Cemetery at Millican under the direction of Scott-Harris Funeral Home. Mrs. Greer died 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, at the Ben Taub Hospital in Houston. She was born in Brazos County on Nov. 4, 1914, the daughter of Ida Lee Crenshaw and Avery Greer. She lived in Houston for the past 30 years and was a member of the Pentecostal Church. Survivors include her father, Avery Greer of Navasota; one daughter, Carolyn Conaway of Houston; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Loftin of Navasota and Mrs. Martha Mayo of Houston; two brothers, Robert Greer of San Antonio and Dimmitt Price of Alvin; along with 35 nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Tom Barker, Tommy Barker and Hughey Crosby of Millican; L.P. Allen of Piedmont and Lee Crenshaw and Alvin Hardwick of Navasota.
