      Albert Lawrence Lovell

      NAVASOTA - Graveside funeral services for Albert Lawrence Lovell, 68, of Navasota will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Peach Creek Cemetery in Brazos County.

      Officiating will be the Rev. Richard Kleiman of the First Presbyterian Church in Navasota.

      Visiting hours are 1-9 p.m. today and 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Nobles Funeral Chapel in Navasota.

      Lovell died Sunday in a Houston hospital.

      Lovell was born in Bryan. He was a retired heavy-equipment operator for the City of Houston.

      He served in the U.S. Army in World War II.

      Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Lawrence and Ruby Lovell of Caldwell; two daughters and a son-in-law, Barbara Ann Lovell of Houston and Sandra Lynn and Frank Vacante of Navasota; a brother and sister-in-law, Ernest and Alene Lovell of Bryan; four sisters, Iny Blazek and Effie Poehl, both of Bryan, Mildred Lynd of Mississippi and Stella Griffith of Crockett; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
