  Obituary: Mattie M. Greer Aug. 30, 1927 - April 24, 1999 NAVASOTA - Services for Mattie M. Greer, 71, of Peach Creek, Texas, are set for 3 p.m. Monday at Nobles. Funeral Chapel in Navasota. The Rev. Glenn Cooksey of Millican Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Peach Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Greer died Saturday morning at her home. She was born in Bryan, worked for Alenco and was a member of Millican Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Monroe Greer. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Donald Ray and Shelly Greer of Peach Creek and Norman Dean and Bonnie Greer of Keith, Texas; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Avis and Terrell Crenshaw of Peach Creek and Bell Bowen of Houston; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.
