James Monroe Greer
Sept. 27, 1977 - April 9, 1993
NAVASOTA - Funeral services for James Monroe Greer, 15, of the Peach Creek community will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Nobles Funeral Home in Navasota.
The Rev. Dan Bates will officiate. Burial will be in Peach Creek Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 4-9 p.m. and Monday from 8-10 a.m.
James died Thursday at his home.
He was born in Bryan and was a ninth-grade student at A&M Consolidated High School. James was a member of Millican Baptist Church.
Survivors include his parents, Norman Dean Greer of Peach Creek and Bonnie Faye Greer of Tomball; his paternal grandparents, Norman Monroe and Mattie Martha Greer of Peach Creek and his maternal grandmother, Shirley Gent of Bryan; three sisters, Candy Gent of Austin, Kim Gent of Tomball and Lora Lee Mathis of Navasota; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
