Albert LeBlanc Dies at Age 82
PORT ARTHUR (Spl) - Albert LeBlanc, 82, of 4400 Gulf St., Groves, died at St. Mary's Hospital at 7:40 p.m. Thursday after an illness of three weeks.
A native of Lafayette, LeBlanc lived in Port Arthur 57 years. He was a retired building contractor and the oldest living member of Carpenters Local 610 in Port Arthur. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church.
A Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Grammier- Oberle Funeral Home. Funeral rites will be at noon Saturday, in St. James Catholic Church. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Surviving are LeBlanc's wife, Mrs. Carlotta LeBlanc; two daughters, Mrs. J. R. Hatfield of Port Arthur and Mrs. P. P. Choate of Galveston; three sisters, Mrs. C. Doucet, Mrs. Marcelee Landry and Mrs. Lillian Tanner, all of Lafayette; five grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Albert LeBlanc Funeral Held Here
Funeral services were held today at non in St. James Catholic church for Albert LeBlanc, 82, of 3803 Seventh street, who died Thursday at 7:40 p.m. in St. Mary's hospital, where he had been a patient since Nov. 6.
Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial park by the Grammier-Oberle Funeral home with C.B. Rogers, H.H. Salter, J.R. Hutson, F.E. Gardner, Albert Choate and J.E. Bos as pallbearers.
Mr. LeBlanc was a native of Lafayette, La., and had been a Port Arthur resident 57 years. A retired building contractor and the oldest living member of Carpenters Local 610 prior to his death, Mr. LeBlanc was a member of St. James Catholic church.
