  Obituary: Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. tomorrow in the Delhomme Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. J.W. Tanner, 71, who died at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital after a brief illness. The Rev. Wallace Palmer, pastor of the Northside Baptist Church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Broussard. Mrs. Tanner, the former Lillian LeBlanc, was the daughter of the late Clet LeBlanc and Azina Vincent. She was a native of Broussard, but had lived in Lafayette for the past 30 years, residing at 514 Evangeline Drive at the time of her death. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Joseph P. Logan of Lafayette; two sons, James R. Tanner of San Antonio, Tex., and Robert Lee Tanner of New Orleans; nine grandchildren; and one great grandchild. The family requests that visiting hours be observed until 11 p.m. tonight and from 7 a.m. to service time Thursday. Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand, is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
