  Death Notice: Death of Mrs. Henry McBride Mrs. Henry McBride, born Martha Mouton, daughter of Mrs. Edward Mouton, died last night at 8 o'clock in the town of St. Martinville. Her remains will be brought to Lafayette and interred in the Catholic cemetery this town. (Published in The Lafayette Advertiser on March 9, 1904) Obituary: DIED At seven o'clock Tuesday night the 8th inst., Mrs. Henry McBride, born Martha Mouton died. Mrs. McBride had given birth to a child a few days previous, the child dying, the mother was not considered seriously sick until symptoms developed for the worse and her death soon followed. Very few of her relatives and friends knew of her sickness and the announcement of her death was a painful surprise to all. The remains of Mrs. McBride were taken to Lafayette Wednesday for burial in the family tomb. (Published in The St. Martinville Teche News on March 12, 1904)
