Mrs. Daniel LeLeux
RAYNE, La. - Funeral services for Mrs. Daniel LeLeux, 50, the former Kathleen McBride who died at 8:10 a.m. today at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Mausoleum.
A native of Rayne, and the daughter of Mrs. Mae Platsmier McBride, and the late Edward S. McBride, whe attended local schools prior to her marriage to Mr. LeLeux. They continued to reside in Rayne where she had been active in many civic organizations. She was a longtime member of the Rayne Garden Club and presently a member-at-large for the La. Garden Club Federation where she had previously served as corresponding secretary. She was also a past Seventh District Director of the La. Federation and a member of the La. Accredited Flower Show judges, the La. Landscape Design Critics Council, and the La. Society for Horticultural research. She was a member and former officer of the Acadia Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, member of the Auxillary of Arceneaux Post American Legion, and the Rayne Catholic Daughters of America.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, David LeLeux of Rayne and one daughter, Suzanne LeLeux also of Rayne; her mother, Mrs. E.S. McBride Sr. of Rayne; four brothers, Edward S. McBride Jr. of Kingsville, Maryland, Sidney McBride of Rayne, Warren McBride of Rayne, and Harold McBride serving the Army in Germany; one sister Mrs. Marilyn LeLeux of Estherwood.

Mrs. Daniel Leleux
RAYNE - Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Mrs. Daniel E. LeLeux, 50, the former Kathleen McBride, who died at 8:10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette.
Entombment will be in the mausoleum at St. Joseph Cemetery.
She was a long time member of the Rayne Garden Club and was presently representative at large for the Louisiana Garden Club Federation. She was past Seventh District director for the Louisiana Federation, and a member of the Louisiana Accredited Flower Show Judges and also a member of the Louisiana Landscape Design Critics Council. She was also a member of the Louisiana Society of Horticultural Research.
Mrs. LeLeux was a member and former officer of the Acadia Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and member and past president of the auxiliary of Arcenaux Post American Legion. She was also active in Court Rayne, Catholic Daughters of America.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel E. LeLeux of Rayne; one son, David LeLeux of Rayne; one daughter, Suzanne LeLeux of Rayne; mother, Mrs. E.S. McBride Sr. of Rayne; four brothers, Edward S. McBrdie Jr. of Kingsville, Maryland, Sidney McBride and Warren McBride both of Rayne, and Harold McBride, serving with the U.S. Army in Germany; and one sister, Mrs. Marilyn LeLeux of Esterwood.
