Harold Leleux Sr. Rites Held
Funeral services were held Monday at 11 a.m. in the St. Margaret's Church of Estherwood for Harold Paul Leleux, Sr., 57, who died in the American Legion Hospital. Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
Survivors include his widow, the former Marilyn McBride of Estherwood; one son, Harold Paul Leleux, Jr.; three daughters, Mrs. Roy Lynn S. Trahan of Crowley, Mrs. Sydna Hanks of Hackberry, and Ellen Leleux of Estherwood; two brothers, Wilbur J. Leleux of Crowley, and Loren Leleux of Iowa; three sisters, Mrs. Shirley Harris of Estherwood, Mrs. Carrie Cramer of Crowley, and Mrs. Hilda Chaisson of Welsh; and seven grandchildren.
Mr. Leleux was a member of the Father Fontaine Council 4791 and also a Fourth Degree member of the Msgr. George Mollo Assembly.
Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Harold LeLeux Rites Monday
Funeral services for Harold Paul Leleux ,Sr., 57, were held in St. Margaret's Catholic Church in Estherwood Monday at 11 a.m. with internment following in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Crowley.
Mr. Leleux died at the American Legion Hospital in Crowley Saturday night. He had been in ill health, but his death was unexpected and came as a great shock to his family and many friends.
He was a lifelong resident of Estherwood, and member of a well-known family there. He was a member of the Father Fontaine Council 4791, Knights of Columbus, and also of the Msgr. Geo Mollo. Assembly, Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus.
He had been employed since 1959, as sales representative with stamm-Scheele, Inc. of Rayne where he was a valued staff member.
His wife is the former Marilyn McBride of Rayne, daughter of Mrs. E.S. McBride nd the late Mr. McBride, end he and Marilyn were popular with a large circle of friends here, as well as in Estherwood.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Marilyn LeLeux of Estherwood; one son, Harold Paul LeLeux, Jr.; three daughters, Mrs. Roy Lynn S. Tranan, of Crowley, Mrs. Sylvia Hanks of Hackberry, and Ellen LeLeux of Estherwood; two brothers, Wilbur J. LeLeux of Crowley and Loren LeLeux of Iowa; three sisters, Mrs. Shirley Harris of Estherwood, Mrs. Carrie Cramer of Crowley, and Mrs. Hilda Chiasson of Welsh; and seven grandchildren.
A large attendance of family and friends from this area was present for the Monday morning funeral services.
