Margaret Ann McBride Walter of Houston, Texas went to be with her lord and savior on Tuesday, October 21, 2014.
She was a very loving and dedicated mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt whose kindness and devotion to her family and friends is cherished by all. She was courageous, inspirational and brought an abundance of joy and laughter to all who knew her.
Margaret was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, on May 19th, 1951 to Anderson Joseph McBride Jr. (deceased) and Camilla Anne Hughey McBride.
Margaret began her career in the mail room with no exposure or experience to the pipe, valve and flange industry and took it upon herself with great drive and dedication to gain the expertise and knowledge necessary to succeed in a field that few women chose to pursue. After 28 years of inside sales with Piping and Equipment, Margaret expanded her family and found a new home with Transquip, USA where she shared her expertise of the ins and outs of the industry and cared greatly for her customers. The greatest joy she found in her new venture was the family she found in Transquip, USA; a bond of laughter and respect that brought much fulfillment to her career.
She is survived by her mother Camilla Hughey McBride; daughter Kimberly Walter Robison and son Robert Walter; granddaughters Taylor Furst, Madison Walter and Sophie Walter; sister Sharon McBride Stewart and her husband Jerry; brother Andy McBride; nieces and nephews Joshua McBride, James Stewart and his wife Cortney, Brittney Jordan and her husband Rob, and Jennifer Stewart; great nephews Hendrix Stewart and Baer Stewart and numerous friends and relatives. She will be greatly missed by all.
The funeral service celebrating Margaret's life will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, October 24th, at Niday Funeral Home - Beamer Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
