Mrs. Ada Fletcher
Mrs. Ada Verlie Fletcher, 63, of 827 Euclid St., Houston, Tex., a former Shreveport resident, died Tuesday in a Houston hospital.
Mrs. Fletcher was a native of Elliott, Ark. She was a member of the Woodland Baptist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of Postal Supervisors.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Sam H. Green Funeral Home chapel in Houston. The Rev. Odom Dyess will officiate. Burial will be here in Forest Park Cemetery, with graveside services at 10 a.m. Friday.
Survivors include a daughter, Patsy Beck of Houston; a brother, Lonnie G. Houston of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Mrs. Sybil Goodgion of Shreveport and Mrs. Margaret LeBlanc of Bryan, Tex., and two grandsons.
