- Obituary:
Karen T. Holligan, age 52, passed away on June 28, 2023. Born on February 8, 1971 in Dallas, Tx, she was the second daughter to Roger and Kathryn Townsend.
She was an active member in her church, Brazos Fellowship, for many years. Karen dedicated a portion of her adult life to spreading awareness for Muscular Dystrophy and educating others on scientific advancements regarding treatments. She was loyal to her friends and family and can be remembered as someone who could light up a room.
She is survived by her mother, Kathryn Townsend; her 3 siblings, Alice Townsend, John Townsend, and Sara Townsend; her daughter and son-in-law, Kendell and Spencer Price, her daughter, Jaycee Fojt; her son, Wyatt Fojt; and her granddaughters, Chloe and Baylee Price.
She was preceded by her father, Roger Townsend; and her son, Garrett Fojt.
