  Obituary: Eddie J. Talbot, 77, of Port Acres died Friday at Golden Triangle Convalescent Center. A native of Rayne, La., he was a longtime resident of Port Acres. He was a retired carpenter supervisor for Texaco with 46 years of service and a member of Port Acres Masonic Lodge No. 1303. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Clayton-Thompson Funeral Home in Groves with the Rev. Martin Bordages officiating. Masonic burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park. A wake will be 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Survivors include his wife, Edna Zimmerman Talbot; a son, Michael Talbot of Lake Charles, La.; two daughters, Theresa Wolf and Peggy Viator, both of Port Acres; a brother, Dudley Talbot of Port Neches; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
