Rudolph Ronsonette Jr., 84 of Groves passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at Calder Woods Nursing Home in Beaumont.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 3, 2009 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland with Reverend Dan Malain officiating.
Entombment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches under the direction of Broussard's in Nederland. There will be a visitation and Rosary recited at 1:00 PM Thursday before the Mass at the mortuary.
Mr. Ronsonette a native of Port Arthur and lived in the Port Arthur and Groves most of his life. He retired from Texaco Refinery in Port Arthur as a carpenter with 37 years of service, and served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII.
Mr. Ronsonette was preceded in death by his wife Mary Lou Ronsonette, two sisters and one brother. He is survived by three daughters, Brenda Redman of Beaumont, Vicki Kohlhofer of Beaumont and Roxanne Oubre and her husband Shawn of Orange; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
