Robert Arnold Jr., 78, of Port Arthur died Thursday, April 24, 2003, at his home. Grammier-Oberle Funeral home in Port Arthur.

- Obituary:
Robert Arnold, Jr., 78, of Port Arthur passed away Thursday, April 24, 2003 at his residence.
Memorial Services will be conducted at 7:30 P.M. Tuesday April 29, 2003 at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home in Port Arthur. A visitation will occur from 4 to 6:00 P.M. Tuesday with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Born in Bellevue, Louisiana Mr. Arnold had lived in Port Arthur over sixty years and was retired from Texaco Oil Refinery. He was also a WW II Army Veteran in the 94th Medical Treatment Battalion; Company B attached to the Third Army, he was also a member of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include his son, Robert Wayne Arnold and his wife Dian of Lakewood, Colorado, daughters, Linda Credeur of Houston, Diane Arnold Parnell of Atlanta, Georgia, Susan K. Martin and her husband Rick of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Mary Ann Foux of Beaumont. He had ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren, three brothers, Easton Arnold and Henry Lee Arnold both of Port Neches, Alvin Arnold of Bridge City, sister, Mercedes Henry of Opelousas, Louisiana.
Mr. Arnold also had four stepsons, Mark K. White of Nashville, Tennessee, Paul J. White of Bridge City, Gerald W. White of Pennsylvania, Luther "Butch" White of Georgetown, two stepdaughters, Ouida R. Keel of Port Arthur and Bonnie J. Brown of Nashville, Tennessee.
