  Obituary: Versie Talbot, 76, of Mauriceville, died Thursday, May 31 at her residence after an illness. Services will be Today at 2 P.M. at Clayton-Thompson Funeral Home Groves Chapel with Rev. Glenn Landry officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Port Arthur. Mrs. Talbot is a native of Pecan Island, Louisiana and lived in the Port Arthur area for 60 years before moving to Mauriceville 10 years ago. She is survived by her daughter, Jo Ada Buford of Jasper, her son-in-lawn, Willard Buford of Jasper, one brother, J.L. Roberts, Jr. of Woodville; five sisters, Hazel Badock of Nederland; Mildred Davidson of Beaumont; Audrey Tibbits, Mamie Cantrell, Gloria Ardoin all of Bridge City; three grandchildren, Willard Buford, Jr., Tina Wallace, Phil Buford; five great-grandchildren, Carla Buford, Kasey Buford, Mandy Fregia, Ricky Garza, Lacy Jaye Wallace.
